John Hampden Hall 101 High Street, Chalgrove, Oxford OX44 7SS Situated in the High Street, directly opposite the row of four shops. This Church hall is a facility for the whole community to use. It is managed by a Committee on behalf of St. Mary's Church PCC, who are the managing trustees. It has recently been fully modernised and refurbished to a high standard for the Millennium. The main hall will seat up to 50 people, and is equipped for seminars, family parties, sales and music practice. There is access to a landscaped garden at the rear. Adjacent private rooms are equipped for medical clinics, computer training, interviews and committee work. The facilities also include internet access, easy access for the disabled, a pleasant reception area with seating, baby changing units, toilets and kitchen. Chalgrove Band played in the garden. ![]() There were displays of historical photos. ![]() The Chalgrove Browsers showed their mettle. ![]() There were teas to be eaten. ![]() And Shirley Pate MBE cut the celebratory cake. ![]()
